Julie Cunningham

Born in New Zealand, Julie travelled to Australia and lived in Queensland for many years where she designed and manufactured women’s shoes. During these years her daughter was born and she discovered the joys of motherhood.

After moving to The Kingdom of Tonga for 2 years, she joined her husband in managing a 5-star fishing lodge in the Darien Jungle in Panama.

After almost 5 years there the family moved to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, then returned to New Zealand and now reside in The Bay of Islands.

She began her writing career in 2004 after graduating from The Writing School.

After writing several books that failed to be published she finally succeeded with her current 3 books for children and teenagers/adults.

She is driven by the belief that the meaning of success is going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm.
