Kim Martins

K.V. Martins studied history, archaeology and law at university, and wrote her first novel at sixteen. It’s tucked away in a drawer, but it got her started.

After years working in law firms, the Australian government, and a specialised United Nations agency in Rome, she is now a full-time writer and editor for a publishing company. She is always accompanied by her loyal sidekick, a smooth fox terrier named Zoe.

Her poems, short stories and flash fiction have been published in various journals, and she has won several poetry and writing competitions. K.V. Martins is the author of five historical suspense novels and a full-length poetry collection.
