Zana Bell

Zana Bell has had six novels published internationally, four of which are historical. For her PhD in Creative Writing, she wrote a ‘biography’ of her birth country, Zimbabwe, told as fiction through the eyes of three women. In the process, she became particularly fascinated with the blurred lines between ‘history’ and ‘fiction’.

Currently, she is working on a biography of Auckland’s first woman doctor.
